experiential exercises designed to refresh your understanding of not
only the Rule 114 Code of Ethics but also of CMS best practices.
Saturday, February 23rd from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday, March 4th from 12:00 2:00 p.m.

BUSINESS CONSUMER MEDIATION
Parties that file an action in conciliation court in the 4th Judicial
District have to wait anywhere from 60-90 days for their matter to be
heard by the court. With the recent budget cuts in the district, it
appears that the waiting period will be even greater. As a result, it is
likely that many of the landlord tenant concerns we ordinarily would
mediate in conciliation court will now be seen in housing court in the
form of combo cases. This workshop is intended for those who mediate in
both conciliation and housing court (or would like to start mediating in
either housing or conciliation court) and will address the nuts and
bolts of mediating combo cases and suggest ways to best draft combo
agreements.
Thursday, February 14th from 12:00 2:00 p.m.
